The University of Portsmouth School of Architecture is offering existing Year 4 students the opportunity of a lifetime…to study, at first hand, Jørn Utzon’s family home Can Lis on the Island of Mallorca.
The Can Lis Field Trip will take place from Monday 11 September to Friday 15 September 2017.
This intensive period of study, programmed over a period of 5 days, will include surveying and drawing the existing villa by hand, honing your painting and drawing skills and a design charrette at the end of the week where you will be able to prepare designs for a new Can Lis ‘Guest House’…all of these events will help to prepare you for the start of your MArch studies at Portsmouth.
